About the campaign For Giving campaign is one of the projects of the Division of Public Relations and Advertising students graduated media Department at College of arts and social sciences in Sultan Qaboos University, and aims to pay attention to the category of young people with special needs and urged them selfreliant to prove their competence in the labor market to be active members, and instilling the spirit of philanthropy and cooperation and think about the other, and work to promote the idea of voluntary work in the Sultanate and to instill its culture. The project demonstrated the value inherent goodness within Omani society, Where the campaign succeeded very successful in achieving its objectives. The idea of the campaign to collect cans aluminum lids,Then recycled and manufactured artificial limbs for amputees.
Our Vision The campaign promotes the idea of voluntary work in the Sultanate of Oman as it seeks to instill a culture of volunteering and more importantly to deepen the principles of humanity through the work of the utmost simplicity is the collection the aluminum lids of cans to be recycled to make their artificial limbs are distributed to the needy.
Our Mission - Raise public awareness of the importance of recycling and the benefits that can be obtained. - Maintaining the cleanliness of the place.

Our Services Collection the cans aluminum lids such as juice cans. Then send them to “The Chiang Mai Prostheses Foundation” in Thai- land, to be used in process of manufacture artificial limbs for amputees. 1500 lids = 1 artificial limb 3000 lids = 2 artificial limbs
After 3 days they collected 240 000 lids it’s enough to manufacture 100 artificial limbs. After 8 weeks they collected 720 000 lids it’s enough to manufacture 240 artificial limbs.
Targets Demographic:
Amputees: Male, Female. Geographic: Omani Society: Schools, Colleges, Universities, Hotels, Restaurants.
Challenges - Limited recycling material to produce artificial limbs. - Lack of awareness about processes. - Lack of people support. - Luck of mobility to transport aluminum lids and amputees to Thailand.
Achievements - collected 720000 lids it’s enough to man ufacture 240 artificial limbs. - Send the first six amputees to Thailand for medical treatment. - Provide free artificial limbs to amputees.
